What is tested?
This panel measures 10 blood values:

What can this test tell you?
The results show how the blood values associated with sleep quality compare to the reference ranges. Chronic sleep deprivation can become visible in a higher HOMA-IR, an elevated CRP or a shifted cortisol.

How is the sample collected?
For this blood test, a staff member draws a small tube of blood at a certified location. You can choose from 700+ collection sites, so there is almost always a location near you.
You only need your appointment confirmation and a valid ID. The draw usually takes just a few minutes.
When is this test useful?

What do the results mean?
What the results mean depends on your personal situation. This panel does not measure your sleep itself but the blood values associated with it; the pattern across several values is more informative than one isolated result.
Always discuss any deviating values with your GP, so you know what the results may mean for you personally.
Preparation
Fasting is required for this panel: your glucose and insulin are only interpretable when fasted, and HOMA-IR is calculated from them. Do not eat for 10 to 12 hours before the draw and drink only water.
Plan a morning draw, which also makes your cortisol most informative. If in doubt, discuss your situation with your GP.
What happens after the results?
You receive your results digitally in your account, usually within a few working days. For each value, you can see whether it falls within the reference range.

17-OH Progesterone

ACTH (Adrenocorticotropic Hormone)
ACTH is the pituitary hormone responsible for triggering cortisol release from your adrenal glands. For active individuals, monitoring ACTH may help assess how your body adapts to training stress and supports recovery processes.
AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone)
AMH reflects the number of small follicles still queued up in your ovaries: the ovarian reserve. For female athletes it is a useful value because, unlike FSH, LH and estradiol, it can be drawn on any cycle day and therefore slots into an existing blood draw without any fuss. Worth knowing: AMH is not a gauge of your training load. A cycle disrupted by low energy availability shows up mainly in LH, FSH and estradiol. AMH says something about your egg supply, not about your recovery.
ASTO (Antistreptolysin O)
ASO levels help identify streptococcal infections that could lead to joint inflammation and affect training. Early detection supports faster return to performance.
Active Vitamin B12
Active Vitamin B12 measures the bioavailable B12 your cells can utilise. For active individuals, B12 may support oxygen transport, energy metabolism, and recovery. This test could help optimise your performance-related nutritional status.
