Doctor's Assessment Included
Every result includes a professional assessment from a BIG-registered doctor. For treatment decisions, discuss your results with your GP.
Urine Leukocytes
Urine leukocytes are white blood cells detected in the urine by a dipstick test. They are normally absent, and their presence can point to inflammation somewhere in the urinary tract.
What It Measures
This part of the dipstick screens for white blood cells in your urine. A positive result may suggest a urinary tract infection or another source of inflammation, and is usually interpreted alongside nitrite and the rest of the panel.
Lifestyle Tips
Drinking enough water and good personal hygiene support a healthy urinary tract. If a result is positive, your GP can advise whether further testing or treatment is needed.
