What is the PhenoAge method?

PhenoAge is a biological-age model from 2018 (Levine et al.) that combines 9 blood values and your age into an estimate of your biological age. It was developed from large population studies and is linked to health and ageing.

Which blood values do I need?

You need 9 values: albumin, creatinine, glucose, CRP, lymphocytes, MCV, RDW, alkaline phosphatase and white blood cells — plus your age. They appear together on a comprehensive blood test.

Which units should I use?

Use the units reported by European laboratories (g/L, µmol/L, mmol/L, mg/L, %, fL, U/L and 10⁹/L). The correct unit is shown next to each field.

Are my entered values stored?

No. The calculation happens entirely in your browser: your entered values never leave your device and are not stored anywhere.

How accurate is the estimate?
